In November 2017 almost 70 students, 7 teachers, one volunteer and one grandparent piled into two buses for the trip down to Nairobi. We first went to the Giraffe Conservation Centre where we learned about efforts to protect giraffes in Kenya, then had chance to feed the giraffes, before taking a nature walk in the heart of Nairobi.
In the afternoon, we had lunch at BOMAS before seeing traditional tribal dances and exploring re-creation villages, learning about how the different tribes throughout Kenya used to live. |
